Rubber Coating
Benefits of using Rubber Coatings include:
- Here at Component Force we can also tailor a custom rubberized plastic coating for your unique specifications
- Much like our Plastic Coating process the rubber coating involves heating a metal part, then dipping this in liquid plastic
- Maximum sizes for coating are around 29.528" - 33.465" long and approx. 23.228" wide
- Please note we only coat Metal Products – due to intensive heating
How Full Plastic Coating is done:
To coat something in plastic, the item is first heated up to temperatures ranging from 356°F up to 482°F and is lowered into a bath of liquid plastic. This sticks to the hot former forming a coating. Once the coating has been built up around the former it has to be cured and then cooled down before packing. There will need to be a holding point from which the item will hang
